I'm getting this Lintain error for my package called "gav":
E: gav: changelog-file-not-compressed CHANGELOG
CHANGELOG is the upstream changelog for the source package and it is in
the package source root directory. I have it listed in my debian/docs
file along with the upstream README fil

I basically modified the upstream Makefile, and changed the install
target to look as follows:
install: all
install -d $(DESTDIR)/usr/bin
$(DESTDIR)/usr/share/gam

sponsor is Barak Pearlmutter). They are both built in the same tree
however. But each has its own files in the debian directory such as
camserv.files and camserv-relay.files, and camserv.docs and
camserv-relay.docs.
