I have been yet waiting a sponsor for avinfo package.
Meanwile, several bugs in upstream's source have been corrected.
The package has been tested by people from
#debian-mentors, from this mailing list and
by automatic tools such as lintian and pbuilder.
The package builds succesfully on i38
Noticed a mistake in one of the links in my last mail.

extracts various information from multimedia files, such as MPEG or AVI, and
generates
detailed (and fully configurable) reports. AVInfo is free software (GNU GPL).
