I have been yet waiting a sponsor for avinfo package. Meanwile, several bugs in upstream's source have been corrected.
The package has been tested by people from #debian-mentors, from this mailing list and by automatic tools such as lintian and pbuilder.
The package builds succesfully on i386, PowerPC, amd64. Also, I have compiled avinfo under Sparc Solaris.
