I have one more question:
Why are the server and the client packages conflicting? I have not tried
it, but couldn't it in some way be useful to have both client and server
installed at the same machine?

I happened to take a look at the debcheck status for the GNS3 package[1].
The package depends on xdotool, as it is used by GNS3... but from the
debcheck output I've discovered the xdotool is priority extra.
Looking at this it would seem to me, that it is xdotool that is in the

Thanks for the advise and I am working on the changes that are
suggested.
1. quilt format
2. kvmcs source package with 3 binary packages.
The next weeks I can't work on the changes so the new package has to
wait for that. I will close the RFS bug for kvmcs-server.
