At the moment there are three drivers:
flx_run_static.o
flx_stdin_drv_static.o
flx_perf_drv1_static.o
all of which provide the symbol 'main' .. so I don't see
how to put them all in an archive.

I got a hyphen-used-as-minus-sign lintian warning. The cited manpage
(see below) is generated by doxygen.
I couldn't think on a reasonable way of fixing that, and couldn't find
any tip in the web.
All the three ocurrances mean "-1" as a return code in methods
documentation, but changing the
