Hi,
I am currently preparing a package that needs to establish a
pre-loaded library via /etc/ld.so.preload, and I'd like to discuss
ways to do this in a non-destructive way without breaking the system.
This is what I think of:
configure:
- ask user via debconf if she wants to have the library in

Are you sure that the Maintainer and the Changed-By field in the
.changes file are the same?
If they are different, it will count as an NMU from dinstalls point of
view.
I'd simply bounce the installation-acknowledgement mail to the
relevant [EMAIL PROTECTED] address.

Hi!
I (for the first time) adopted a pacakage (radvd). I uploaded a new
version with a changed 'Maintainer:' field, and am now listed as
maintainer for that package. However, the bugs I closed in the
changelog are 'fixed' not 'closed' and are listed as 'fixed in NMU' in
the BTS. Have I missed some

I'm new here and want to get into Debian Development after working out an
idea for a new debian program while at the Debian mini-conf at Linux.conf.au.
I'm planning to write an apt method(or similiar) that will allow you to build
packages from source, but with full optimisations for your process
