I'm building a live usb stick which uses some Comedi hardware. the Comedi
drivers produce device nodes with group "iocard" having read/write perms. It
would be great if I could think of a way to add user to group iocard, but
making a chroot hook with adduser user iocard won't work - beca

disable the CD in sources.list for live systems? If live systems
contain some sort of package archive at all, and it's not complete,
should they put "not_complete" into /cdrom/.disk/cd_type ?

In squeeze I use preseeding to change the default user groups. In
config/chroot_local-preseed/preseed-groups I have:

debconf passwd/user-default-groups string audio cdrom dialout floppy
video plugd
Is there a work around for the "Live system kernel and installer mismatch "
on the cgi iso build tool or local build for wheezy/sid amd64?
This particular mismatch occurred on a sid, amd64 (arch and flavour) and
gnome build.
Live system = 3.1 , installer = 2.6.32

d-i daily needs to be used; that's not yet integrated in the cgi, but
