The package resolvconf is not one of the packages I have listed that I
wanted to specifically install. Unless de

I had to setup the DNS in System>Administration>Network.
I don't know why that is. I set it to my router's IP address.
Situation:
1. Connect to wireless router with wireless USB
2. ping yahoo.com
3. no response: Try IP of yahoo -- Success
4. Go to System>Administration>Network
5. Enter router's I
I need to use 2.6.26-2-686 not 2.6.26-2-486. I need that because of the
nvidia graphics card.
I'm not sure how to choose certain kernels over others. But I know I
don't want the 486 at all.
p.s.
I would prefer to use 2.6.26-2-686-bigmem.

While we're at it, is it possible to boot it off of a SD or Compact
Flash card? And what about CF-to-IDE adapters?
I would love a tutorial on such topics.

I'm trying to do lh_build with debian-live.
I've made an .iso before, but for some odd reason, things don't want to
work anymore. I'm not sure of the reason. It has something to do with
apt-utils? I don't understand, since I don't think I have the ability to
use --force-yes...

I was in the middle of a build, and I ctrl+c'd it.
Now I keep getting this error message:

I would like to bypass the Debian-live boot screen that displays at
startup. I would like to bypass it without having to select the "live"
choice, so it would startup and enter an X-session for me. How do I
accomplish this?

I have a few debian packages inside of "/config/chroot_local-packages/".
Let's say they are mickeymouse.deb and donaldduck.deb.
And let's say inside of "/config/chroot_local-hooks" I have

The wiki says this:

I noticed something but let's ignore the fact that the current songbird
download is a binary. Let's imagine it's source.
So, if inside of songbird.sh I had this:

./configure
make
make install
exit

I want to build a live-cd, but I haven't seen something discussing how
to install something from source so it will be there when I use the live
system. For instance, I want to install Songbird, which is a nice media
program. I don't believe it is in the Debian repositories yet, so I
believe I will
I'm having two problems at the moment. One is with some file called
"10adduser" the other is with using the option "--sections." I can't
find the 10adduser file. The live-bottom directory doesn't even exist.
It doesn't exist. I'm using an up-to-date version of Sid, so many Sid
