I had to setup the DNS in System>Administration>Network. I don't know why that is. I set it to my router's IP address.
Situation: 1. Connect to wireless router with wireless USB 2. ping yahoo.com 3. no response: Try IP of yahoo -- Success 4. Go to System>Administration>Network 5. Enter router's IP address as DNS server: Accept 6. ping yahoo.com 7. Success 8. Visit yahoo.com 9. Success I don't remember having to do this for an installed debian lenny system. Is there a reason I had to set this up on live? -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-live-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
