Why isn't --binary-images HDD supported with a grub-efi bootloader?

In the latest version, attempting to set ./auto/config --binary-images 'hdd' --bootloaders 'grub-efi' will cause lb config to fail with E: You have selected an invalid combination of bootloaders and live image type; the grub-* bootloaders are not compatible with hdd and netboot types. Is there

Do you know if there's a workaround to this bug? Even if the devs won't fix it, it would still be nice to be able to compile an iso.

Bug#964914: Additional info.

I don't suppose anyone has seen fit to address this bug or provide a workaround? Is there a setting we can change in config/ that will fix this? I can't find it.

Good afternoon, I'm trying to build an image that uses grub-efi to boot, as MBRs are getting less common and I want to use GRUB to dual-boot my image with other images (yes, I've gotten this to work on a legacy BIOS install using syslinux). During the build process, I get the following warnings: P

There were days, about a year ago, when I could write in auto/config: --architectures 'i386' --linux-flavours 'amd64 686-pae' And this made me happy because I could generate an image that ran natively on both 32 and 64-bit processors (every now and then I run into a 32-bit processor I want to run

Greetings. I have the stretch versions of live-build, live-boot and live-config on my system. Please find my auto/config file below. I have not fiddled with any other files in my auto/ or config/ folder trees. The resulting image has no loginable user. I understand from http://live.debian.net/manua
