I'm planning to install Debian on an old IBM ThinkPad
(75MHz Pentium, 540MB HD, 8 MB RAM) which does NOT
have a CD-ROM drive. It has a floppy drive. I'm
looking for any information that I can find on doing
the install
through floppy disks or ftp. I would appreciate it if

The two options that I am passing to kernel are:
hd=523,32,63
mem=8M
Any ideas?

at:
/debian/dists/Debian2.1r4/main/disks-i386/2.1.9-1999-03-03
It is another story that my laptop didn't like the
files...

I am able to configure X on a 365E. I don't know if it
will work on a 365X, but let me know if you would like
to try my XF86Config file.
