Hi
I am looking into buying a second hand Megaherts
modem/10/100 XJack PCMCIA card off ebay.
What is a good card with these specifications that
works with Debian quite happily.
Currently I am using an old Megahertz XJ1144 modem,
its slow as a dog but works very well with Debian.

I have a problem with possibly my CPU or memory on
my notebook, it wasn't caused by Debian, more likely from Windows as the problem

I am also looking to buy a new notebook similar spec to what you are looking
for. I don't know anyone who is selling laptops with Debian preinstalled but
I have been checking out Fujitsu's new Lifebook P2046/1032/1035 series
notebooks.

to serial converter, strange!
I hope the price of the P series Lifebooks will go down soon, it may be
worth me hanging on a little longer.

notebook advertised as PCG-U and PCG-U1. Maybe it is cheaper if sold with only
the onboard ram. I thought it comes with 256mb as standard.
