Hallo
Since upgrading to testing and kernel 2.6.6 (with patches from Bjoern
Schmidt for fan control and awaking after screensavers monitor blanking)
ACPI is running instead of APM on my Compaq Armada 1750. Since I
activated ACPI debugging I get a lot of messages from the
/proc/acpi/event reading b
Hi,
since I have already asked some days before whether anybody could
provide scripts for acpi support e.g. to shut down the screen when the
cover is closed and since I did not receive any response,
I will ask again:
Is there someone to share his experience using acpi with kernel 2.6.(6)

Hallo,
how do you keep evolution data on your laptop and your workstation
synchronized. I have no problem with mails since they reside on an IMAP
server, but I do not see a way to get tasks and appointments
synchronized other than by hand. Gnome-pilot is (according to its
description) not for use
