hi ever since i installed debian i always have to issue "ifdown eth0" if i wanna use wifi or "ifdown eth1" for ethernet. i have tracked down the problem to the routing table which sets eth0 and eth1 as default. route del dev eth0 solves the problem - though the settings asre gone after a system
