hi ever since i installed debian i always have to issue "ifdown eth0" if i wanna use wifi or "ifdown eth1" for ethernet.
i have tracked down the problem to the routing table which sets eth0 and eth1 as default. route del dev eth0 solves the problem - though the settings asre gone after a system reboot. so what's the "debian way" of permanently setting routes? couldn't find anything useful on google - sry. thanks in advance duncan -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
