I am trying to install the stable release of Debain 3.1 r0a on a Fujitsu
Siemens S7020 and have the problem that the SATA disk is not recognized.
The hardware should be supported as I can boot with Knoppix and can
access the disk.
I have tried to load some of the modules by hand that are

I'm currently experiencing a problem with my Acer 1355xc laptop. My AMD
2600+ processor works only @796mhz instead of 2.0 Ghz. I've tried to
compile the kernel in many ways but the cpu still doesn't work. It
works well only with ubuntu. I know that they use a lot of patches for

I too have the Asus W3 notebook. I have been trying to
install Suse 10.1 OSS Alpha 3. I have come across a few problems but resolved
