choose debian. But i have a critical problem. I can't start the

I installed debian on my Acer Travelmate 291 LCi-M11 recently. It worked very
well out of the box with Joans help page. (see also

of my information recently). But it can happen with framebuffer devices that

I have allways just added a module with modprobe, then after rebooting,
the module will reload itself.
I have built the kernel 2.4.26 and selected all module loading options,
but now when using modprobe, the module works fine until I reboot, then
the module doesn't reload automatically.

installed in the kernel, not as modules, including RAM fs.
