Hello,
is there anybody who has experiences with self compiled kernels for Dell
Inspiron 7500? The damn APM-Functions don't work properly. PowerDown
doesn't work, sending in StandBy when closing monitor doesn't work. I
tried several kernels, 2.4.24, 2.

Hi all,
I have recently upgraded my Toshiba Satellite 5100 notebook from a
2.4.21 kernel to a 2.6.0 kernel. Unfortunately, it turns out that the
cpad module (http://www.janerob.com/rob/ts5100/cPad/index.shtml) is
not available for the 2.6 kernel series.
My only reason for using this driver has be
The ethernet adapter is a built-in sis900

I can figure the informations out by using the running mandrake

10/100
Sorry, I realized I left out a bunch of useful, and perhaps critical

Reinhard, thank you very much.
I wonder if this will correct the problem of crashing under 2.6 as
well... I hope so, then I can focus on getting sound working. Ugh!
BTW, which readme did you find that in? Naa, I'll just look everywhere.

Hmm, the documentation for sis900 in 2.4.23 doesn't mention any
parameters. Have you tried modinfo, just in case, under 2.2 to see what
comes up?
