Hello,
I am running Debian unstable, and was wondering if anybody has managed to get WEP
working with Cisco 350 card.
My settings are as follows

Hi
I.m in the process of trying to buy a new laptop.
For a while I looked at the powerbook but I think I will go for a
regular x86 laptop. However I would very much like one with a
slot-loading cd/dvd instead of the usual tray-loader. Does anyone know
of pc brands that have slot-loading ??

Hi,
I burned the bootbf2.4.iso image-file on a CD and installed Debian Woody
on my laptop (Gericom Blockbuster 2440 XL).
After the first restart of the system, the boot process stops with:

Hi,
Did you check the authentification method ? I mean, if your LAN use a
LEAP or PEAP authentification, you have to use a script as leapscript
or leaplogin.
Take your chance on the cisco site. There is a tgz for linux. Don't
bild the driver : the kernel module already do the job. But look for

Hello,
Thanks a lot. Running iwconfig essid ssid key (key) is working for me.
But why doesn't the same key work from /etc/networking/interfaces ?
Would it be possible to run iwconfig automatically after ifup ?
