I have the same ATI card in my 2105. Check out this
page on the 2120:

Once configured it works pretty well.

Hi guys,
I'm thinking about buying a new laptop and after a few comparisons I've opted
for the Acer TravelMate 654LC, that has got everything I need (and I've got a
discount on it!).

I do not have hands on experience with this laptop but some integrated

I never heared that it will work...

Hello,
I post this here although i just send it to debian-users.
I'm unsure what happened - I'm at work, and this $%&!^° isp mailbox doesn't
show it up in the 'sent'

I am trying to alternate between ethernet and ppp with ifplugd.
The issue is that no matter what ppp seems to never get routed. It adds
its lines to resolv.conf, it adds its routes, but no joy.
Could someone help me? If you need any additional info, please shout.
I'm using a DELL I8K running Woody. The laptop has a internal 3COM 556

There are probably a few ways, but the way I test modems is to use
wvdial and see if it finds the combo mod
If this is the part I think it is -- the 3COM miniPCI
combo LAN and winmodem -- the modem will not work under
Linux. The "modem" is a winmodem that contains intellectual
property from USR that they will not unveil -- and they
won't release any specs on it. This card has been around

I downloaded the Sarge binaries using jigdo. I tried to install to a laptop. I
didn't want to configure the network as it's a rare PCMCIA NIC so I need a
