Hello everybody!
I've recently installed Debian 3.0 on my Acer Travel Mate 212TX and
I'm very happy with it. There are just a problems left with the sound
and the built in modem.
I've compiled the Trident 4DWave driver into the kernel and all the
applications semm to find a working sound device,

I have got a little problem with my laptop, it is an Airis and uses a
Sis 650 graphic card. I downloadded the drivers from Sis's page and the
X starts ands works fine. But at the time of turn the computer off the
screen becomes stripped and when I try to change at the charter mode the
