Where can I place commands for these to be restor

Debian doesn't do a lot with runlevels. 0 (should be obvious :-) 1
(single user) 2 (normal use) and 6 (reboot).

Hello all...
I've got a Dell i8100, with the synaptics touchpad. It works just fine with
gpm, but the gpm driver lacks some nice features like scrolling, two finger
tabbing etc. So I've got the driver from mobilix
(http://mobilix.org/touchpad_driver.html) and configured XF86, stopped gpm and

Thank you -- Problem solved! I looked at my XF86Config-4 and saw that I was
using /dev/psaux for my mouse device; and I checked my /dev directory for the
possibility of a link from /dev/psaux to gpm. Nope! But gpm was definitely
running. So I killed the gpm process, and my trackpoint and externa

need to add a script to /etc/init.d for pump. Also I understand that I would
need to create a link from that script to a file in my /etc/rc3

connectivity for another laptop and a stationary computer. I would much
prefer something that works out of the box on woody.
I have no idea about what to bu
