Hi!
Can anyone provide me a XF86Config file for the ATI Rage 128 Mobility
Chip. I'm using the "non free" XF86_Rage128 server but I'm not able
to get it run.
I have a Dell Inspiron 8000 with a 1600x1200 TFT on Debian 2.2r3. I
tried to "dist-upgrade" to the "unstable" dist in Order to use the X 4.0
Ahm, unfortunately it didn't help. Here is the output after a startx:

Just to be _absolutely_ clear about this - you are aware that the
XF86Config file format changed in an incompatible way [for the
better, imo] between 3.x and 4.x, right?

Yes, I know this. But my potato dist has the 3.3.6 version of xfree86, so I
need the old format, don't I?

Yes, you do - I was just making sure we weren't talking at cross

Here's how I installed Debian on my Vaio (Z505S, August 1999) with USB
floppy:
1. Obtained the RedHat single-floppy "network install" disk, in my
case from 6.0.
2. Partitioned the disk, leaving the hibernate partition alone, and

A lot of my mail gets bounced back with since my machine doesn't have a fqdn

Netenv has a DOMAIN= setting, but this doesn't seem to affect

how do I get it to represent my fully qualified domain name at work?

Thanks all for the replies.
I've done the RTM thing and have one question.
If the network.opts file doesn't identify the ray_cs module as
having a key, then how do I find out what it is supposed to be?
Or, more to the point, how can I validate the claim that it does
have 56 or 128 encryption. An

nothing to do with wep. you need to look in your wireless.opts file.
