I've got potato 2.2r2 running on a Quantex laptop. Whenever I insert my ethernet card (Linksys PCMPC100), the drivers for it load successfully but pump fails to configure it. In /var/log/daemon.log I see the following: cardmgr[163]: + /sbin/pump -i eth0 > /dev/null cardmgr[163]: + pump: no extr

it's the 11.3 active matrix model. i've found other people's configs online, but none of them seem to be helpful at all. the best i've gotten is 640x480 with messed up colors and flickering that makes it impossible to read, much less look at. however, people apear to have gotten 800x600 8bit ju

Hi, I'm trying to get true type fonts working on X on my laptop. I install the xfs-xtt server that comes on the potato disks. I used mkttfdir to make a fonts.dir in the directory with my tt fonts, I put unix/:7100 as a fontpath in my XF86Config, and I added the path to my true type fonts in /etc/
