Hi,
i've struggled a lot with kernel 2.6.10 to run with the
speedstep-centrino module. Then i found this patch
http://localhost.ruhr.de/~stefan/acerTM292/patches/cpufreq-speedstep-dothan-3.patch
that, applied to Debian kernel, works quite well. I don't know the
behaviour with kernel 2.6.12 b
For some reason, the module won't load when probed. All I get is the
following error:
FATAL: Error inserting speedstep_centrino
(/lib/modules/2.6.12.1/kernel/arch/i386/kernel/cpu/cpufreq/speedstep-centrino.ko):
No such device
As such, /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/ is an empty dir.
