Hi,
i've struggled a lot with kernel 2.6.10 to run with the
speedstep-centrino module. Then i found this patch
http://localhost.ruhr.de/~stefan/acerTM292/patches/cpufreq-speedstep-dothan-3.patch
that, applied to Debian kernel, works quite well. I don't know the
behaviour with kernel 2.6.12 but i expect the results to be quite the
same....
Regards,
MC

For some reason, the module won't load when probed. All I get is the
following error:

As such, /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/ is an empty dir.
/proc/cpuinfo shows the following:

Which suggests that it should work :)
I've spotted some older posts of people with similar problems (apparently all
1.5GHz P-M's) who couldn't get it to work on 2.6.8 and were suggested
to upgrade. However, 12.1 doesn't help me much either.
What do I need to fix in order to get it to work?
