I upgraded, and sure, it is working now in glorious 1200x1600. I had
noticed the debian ftp, but I did not know the apt config line. With
PCMCIA, network, sound and X now configured in my new laptop life is
beautiful now. A sweet little machine. Thanks a lot.

I recently received my brand new Dell Inspiron 5150. Obviously, I
proceeded immediately to wipe Windows off and installed Debian. So far,
everything is going good except I haven't managed to get xfree working.
I'm using testing (xfree 4.2.1), but x won't start, it complains about
