I upgraded, and sure, it is working now in glorious 1200x1600. I had noticed the debian ftp, but I did not know the apt config line. With PCMCIA, network, sound and X now configured in my new laptop life is beautiful now. A sweet little machine. Thanks a lot. The panel is UXGA, Dell specs don'
