At first you should use my advice and use cdrecord without ide-scsi
modul. Then your line should be:
cdrecord -audio -pad dev=ATAPI:0,0,0 speed=8 -eject -v *.wav
(if they are wave files)

an off chance here...maybe your trying to burn at a speed that is to high,
try setting down your burn speedmy cd-writer is supposed to be able to
burn at a rate higher than 4x but if i set a speed higher than 4x then i
get an error that reminds me of the one you have

get the same error:

SD-R21021715 combo DVD-CDR/RW
