using /dev/psaux for my mouse device; and I checked my /dev directory for the
possibility of a link from /dev/psaux to gpm. Nope! But gpm was definitely

This has happened to me a few times before and it was normally the wrong
protocol but I've also had it happen when gpm was installed and running
and I wasn't usiing it (Check if your using /dev/gpmdata in your
XF86Config file and if your not make sure your not running gpm). I've
