I installed the ad hoc Debian package provided at
http://spazioinwind.libero.it/fstanchina/debian/fglrx-glc22-4.2.0.html
It works, but I have troubles with OpenGL stuff,
and the screen is shrinked.

Am using Woody on my Dell c610 (with Radeon M6 LY (16MB), works
beautiful except for X windows. My Dell doesn't turn off the LCD when
going over [EMAIL PROTECTED] and doesn't combine well with the docking
station. Other than that, no problems.

They use different brands for the LAN/Modem Combo - mine is a 3Com 'Tornado'

Sound shouldn't be a problem, either.
YMMV regarding the graphics, though.

Hello,
I had it installed on a Dell, although another one than yours (Dell
2650). Haven't got much trouble, certainly not 'Dell laptop-specific'.

I had to use the alsa modules, because the kernel ones didn't work. Just
use the sound support in the kernel source and install the sound modules
from alsa.
I´ve got an ACER TravelMate 506 with Woody, and I use the i810 audio
module from alsa. It works fine.
