I had a woody version without x server, I upgraded to SID then I
installed the Xfree86:
# apt-get install x-window-system-core
then the gnome desktop:
#apt-get install gnome-session nautilus gnome-c

I had a woody version without x server, I upgraded to SID then I
installed the Xfree86:
# apt-get install x-window-system-core
then the gnome desktop:

OK, I ran this. There is a "SiS" driver category there. I selected it
and restarted but the result was the same. In the error message that is
