Hello,
I'm trying to upgrade my laptop from stable to testing including new kernel.
My problem is, all partitions are encrypted except /boot and for security
reasons I have encryption keys stored on encrypted USB flash disk.
I used kernel 2.6.13 and mkinitrd with my script, which detects plugged

Hello,
this is quite old question, but after some googling I still haven't found
satisfying answer :o(
There are currently 4 major linux journaling filesystems: ext3, XFS, ReiserFS,
JFS. All of them should be supported by laptop-mode and all can currently use

What about consulting your notebook manual or contact service center?
Since you do not provide any useful information about your notebook (and I
hope it is notebook)

Hello,
is there some way to make swsusp working with dm-crypt, e.g. storing memory
image on encrypted swap partition and ask for key at resume?
Thanks for info.

Hi,
I am considering purchase of Vaio S4HP notebook, but I am not sure with its
linux support. I googled out it should be generally usable with linux, but
not a word about ACPI (suspend to RAM and/or HDD), battery life and docking
station support. Have you any practical expirience with any of S4
