It looks like there is broken symlink /vmlinuz. Check 
if /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.2-1-686 exists and is readable. Also if you have /boot 
on separate partition, check if it is mounted. And if all looks right, try 
running fsck on / and /boot/ partitions.
