Here i am getting problem with cpu frequency scaling. So i am getting
very low batter backup (3:30 min), on vista it around 5:30 - 6 hours.
Any idea ?

Yes, but ther is a simple solution, just press Fn+Z, then the funs
recover its normal speed.

I've finally made it!! :D
I just enter the dpkg-reconfigure and set the keyboard to us_intl using
deadkeys that it.

I'm trying to install GNOME2 in my woody debian
distribution, I follow all the steps in the GNOME.ORG site, but whan some
packages are being installed some errors ocurrs... I get an error message that
says: Input is not proper UTF-8, indicate encoding !

I can't configure the keyboard layout... I need to
set it to US English International in order tu use the ñ, á é í ó ú normally
(deadkeys) but can't do it. I've read the xmodconf info but doesn't
help

I've installed Debian in my Toshiba Laptop
Satellite 1805-S254 and I'm having several video problems. One of them is that
the X server doe'sn't start... i've read that the problem is that XFree86 4.1
doesn't support my Trident CyberBade video adapter, so I'm updating to XFree86
