I dock my laptop, and I want to use the external screen, and disable the
internal screen. However, I don't want it disabled when I'm not docked.

I was wondering if anyone knew about the Avaratec C3500 Series laptops/tablets.
I seem to have an unusual video problem (horizontal hold goes nuts after it
warms up). The video problem is intermittent, and has happened recently. I
can't think of anything recent that I've done differently.

In kernel 2.6.10, the configuration for PCMCIA changed, and somehow I'm
not able to make a configuration so that pcmcia_core gets compiled,
because it complains at boot time that this module is missing. How do I
need to configure the kernel that I get that module?

I heard Xinerama was good for that, but then I haven't tested it either.

I'm using 2.6.10 pretty happily for CPU throttling on my Compaq 2203AL
Notebook. I use cpudyn tool to control the throttling.
But I've not been able to use my Suspend and Hibernate features. They don't
work as expected. :-(
