I've used the command "plog" to diagnose these kinds of problems. You
have to be root to run plog. I run pon as a normal user, and plog as
root from another xterm when doing this kind of troubleshooting.

I used pppconfig to set up my DialUp Worldnet account but it won't start
PPPD. I type 'pon worldnet' and it uses the modem alright, I hear all of
the annoying modem sounds, then it stops. I check ifconfig and nothing

noflushd default file to not spin down the disk for 5 minutes but it seems
to ignore my commands always spinning down right after a disk write... I am
running a 2.4.18 custom kernel, which was an upgrade from the default 2.

i got an hp a wile ago , and i made setup password
changed.
for new password i give one enter and when i restarted
system , it asked me new password .
i can not enter spacebar or enter , ... and old

and the dir cdrom there (if there's something about your model),
