the problem is that the 2.2.x kernels doesn't support pcmcia. so you have to install the base system with the driver that you will be able to use the pcmcia. the rescue, root, driver 1,2,3, base 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,.. are avaible under dists/potato/main/disks-/current/images-.../ put the i

as mailed some weeks ago, on my 390x running 2.2.16 and the oss-driver for the solo1-audiodrive, pcm sound would only work when i used the laptop in the docking station. if i used it standalone, playing samples resulted only in white noise. now i've turned off "pci bus power management" in the bio
