Using apmd on my laptop (Acernote 350) I can see if I am on-line (AC) or
running batterypowered - but I am not able to get any info on the
current charge. I heard that apmd needed to "feel" the battery fully
charged and empty before being able to give info on the charge. I

When I close my laptop (Siemens mobile 360), the screen is turned
off. When I open it, it's turned back on, but the X display has
shrinked to a 640x400, with a big black border surounding it.
I have to restart X in order to have a 800x600 display.

I have installed Debian2.1 on my lifebook and used a pcmcia network card of

Now, I bought one (not the same card) and get some errors.

consoles). To remove X from the bootup process, use dselect to remove the

I have no problems receiving data, surfing the web or downloading, but when
