Hi,

I installed debian's base and X on my notebook. but failed to follow the advice
not to
start X at boot time.

Now, X got started, but then frozes.

I tried boot from disk, and try to edit the /etc/X11/config. But could not find
it.
Is there a way to un-start X at boot or quit, or start a second console?

appreciate any tip or hints

Benjamin
