i have read the posts in the archive from september but i still have some problems i have a vaio 505 FX too but i still wasnt able to put debian on it (i have the sony pcmcia interfaced cdrom drive too and the two debian 2.1 cd's) i did as told on the post and dl'ed the rescue/boot tecra disks an
