I re-installed the libreoffice-gtk2 package.
I have disabled Java Runtime Environment.
Steps to disable Java in libreoffice.
1. Launch libreoffice
2. Tools -> Options -> Advanced
3. Uncheck "Use a Java runtime environment"

That's because this problem is specific to the Java implementation on
i386.
