I also tried with the new version of libc6 and kernel, which became
available in the last few days, but the outcome unfortunately is the
same.
Unstable unfortunately also doesn't provide the old version of libc6, so
I assume, I have to wait further, hoping a fix is possible. Any other
suggestions

This can be solved by replacing firmware-6.bin by the newest one from
the official repository:

The same is happening here on Dell XPS13 with linux-image-4.9.0-4-amd64
