Hi
can you please enable CONFIG_ITCO_VENDOR_SUPPORT in kernels? It adds
support for some specific hardware which requires extra initialisation
to TCO watchdog.

In order to get my Intel wireless card working on my laptop I am thinking of
installing a 2.6.27 or newer kernel. I want to know how safe is it to
install a new kernel? Do they have any potential of damaging the hardware?

My Toshiba/intel notebook does not resume after a suspend to ram with this
kernel. Suspend to ram has worked ever since my first installation (2.6.24):
2.6.29 is the first time I've had this problem.

packages linux-image-2.6.28-1-amd64 version 2.6.28-1 and
linux-image-2.6.29-1-amd64 version 2.6.29-3.
