As Tom said the new Xorg seems to ignore hal policy rules so I've just added
Option "TapButton1" "1" in xorg.conf and it solved my problem!

Not from what I can see. Until I upgraded from 2:1.0.0~beta3-1, I had
the same problem, but unfortunately I didn't think about i386 before
responding.
