xorg is having problems but they call it unstable for a reason. :)

Problem solved by upgrading to kernel 2.6.29 (I was using latest 2.6.26)
However, I don't understand what package could have created the problems. I

the few bumps during the upgrade, the right ALT key on my keyboard
(Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000) is no longer recognized as such.

With konqueror 3.5 I was able to view mjpeg streaming video from my motion
web servers, the upgrade to KDE 4.2 konqueror shows a blank page.
Anyone had success with konqueror 4.2.2 and streaming video?

Settings -> Desktop -> Behavior and then using the Mouse Button
Actions section in the General tab.
I cannot find the equivalent functionality in KDE 4. Is it gone, or

several years and never has it broken like today. :-D

According to bug #523187, apparently the splashy package was preventing
invoke-rc.d from being able to stop/start packages. Once I purged
splashy, mysql-server-5.0, hal, and all the other recalcitrant packages
