I will try to upload fixed debs for kdenetwork and kdepim once I get a
computer again...
Of course this minor bug is too heinous to allow the packages to go in when
they fix many more important bugs.

Yes, there are a lot more problems with those makefiles. I'll fix it in
HEAD, would be great if you could check compilation afterwards.

Hi,
all probably know about the /tmp/.ICE-unix warnings.
However, I wonder why KDM does not simply fix it. It runs with root
priviledges and could probably do a simple chown on the dir (maybe checking
it first, for security reasons).

Apparently package maintainers finally figured out how to get libsmbclient
support compiled in!
Congratulations! This should mean that it is finally possible to write to smb
shares via the file manager!
Will test it out extensively right now.

has someone built kgpg for sid?
is there a general source for KDE apps not in sid?

running KDE 3.1.1 from Sid.
Here's what I got when I want to compile the app:

Yes, there's a solution, and it WAS available to find by reading a little
further back in the list.
You'll probably need to do:
./configure --with-qt-includes=/usr/lib/qt3
OR
update the contents of the admin directory of your package, which guides the
configure script to the correct location
Hi,
I have two up-to-date sid boxes with kde on them. Only one of them is
giving me this problem. When I logout of my kde session, the screen
goes black, X doesn't try to restart, and it dumps me to the console.
Kdm is still running however, so I have to restart it everytime I log
out.
