Hope this might help someone. Despite loving KDE I don't touch knode
because it completely lacks the "Do What I Mean" factor, but I've had

I can read news articles while online. After going offline, the same articles
cannot be read. Obviously they are not cached. I have set
cache size for header at 1024 KB and
cache size for articles at 4096 KB.

all accounts be refreshed. Also there is no Go to next account menu item.

I have upgraded my Woody box with KDE3 from kde3.geniussystems. When I
try to reply to or create a new message in Knode I do not see any text.
I do believe text is present, I can run spell-check and it finds
misspelled words. Anyone have the same issue or know where to look for

I have a suspition that clicking on URLs in Kmail and Knode messages when
konqueror is already running is wasteful WRT the system resources compared to
opening a new window and typing in the URL. The reason I think so is because
it takes so long (3-5 seconds) when I click on a URL in these
