AbiWord reads AND WRITES WordPerfect documents!
I haven't given this feature heavy exercise yet. No doubt it has problems
with complicated content, blah blah blah. But it works on my simple memos.
Not to mention that it has a modern look and feel, and my mouse scroll
wheel works.

My main word processor is WP8!
Haven't switched to KDE 3.2 yet though. Thanks for the pre-warning. I hope
there is a solution.

But we still need to run WP here. AFAICT, the only other option is WP2K4L.
I'll consider buying a copy, but I want to be sure first that it will work
with KDE 3.2.
