O.K. it is oviously linked against the wrong libpng. I am wondering
that noone else is experiencing this problem. Or do I do something
wrong?

I build KDE3 from source and everything worked out fine, but kooko and
noatun crash on startup.
I also changed $KDEHOME in /usr/local/kde3/bin/startkde to .kde3, but
it does not save any preferences there. Everytime I start KDE it shows
me this configuration wizard. This is annoying.

does anybody has an idea when KDE3 will arrive in SID? I tried to
compile KDE3 myself from the tarballs, but it just takes forever... if
there is any chance KDE3 will be included in SID in the near feature I
will wait, but I don't want to wait another week or two.
