IIRC, it was working ok with the previous version of KDE (4.2.2).
Does/Did anyone of you have the problem ? Did you manage to solve it ? If yes,
how ? Is there any options in somewhere to enable/disable this behavior ?

Fred.

Probably something changed in libkcddb that drives to this situation ? I don't
know. Any ideas are welcome :o)

Hmm, I never did so under konqueror. I was just brainstorming all the
problems that _I_ had.
In enscript, you edit:
/etc/enscript.cfg
to change level of ps.
Good luck,

Let's find out where this problem is, kde or printing drivers themselves.
Try saving the page to .ps, then opening up in gs. What do they look like?
What happens when you lpr, the generated .ps files?
Fred
Do
dmesg | grep cd
and post the results.

1. I didn't know about: /etc/default/cdrecord,
2. I meant to run mkisofs for you, then to remove the image, not just to
get dev
3. I like to dynamically get dev as it might change.

Now do the burn:
cdrecord -dev=0,0,0 -data myfolder.iso
You can make a wrapper script that knows your numbers and burns it all in

still gone. :(

You can download a file and unzip it anywhere. It winds up being a single

It does give you apt in the end, so I guess it's a good compromise for
desktop users.
Libranet has a free download now of an older installer that can painlessly
be upgraded to woody, so this can be used as well if you fear the debian
installer. :)

Exactly how do you connect? Are you typing in the ip number or something?

Seems like the upgrade should take care
of this better. That is, if the upgrade needs to do a purge, it should do
it automatically. I wonder how to report/fix this.
I'm glad that things are working.
Fred
moc 3.0.2 is created and do
./moc -v
If that works, then the compile should work.
If that doesn't work, you could try to run your all ready installed moc in
place of moc 3.0.3, but this might be a BAD THING TM if it doesn't
understand all the changes made in the 0.0.1 release. :)

This seems quite OT to me. Keep on posting, and working on it!

a project?
Isn't debian a registered nonprofit? They could set aside a fund for this,
IMHO.
I'll pay a little bit into this. I think we should try to get one good
developer to do one good font, then move on from there.
Fred
If so, can they put them on a font
server: xttfs? If so, can clients from all over connect? If not, why not.
Or am I misunderstanding things?

What packages were installed? There's a new ver of X out.

nd for this that I can apply right away?
Use garnome. This will compile everything and drop them into their own
dirs. /usr/local/kde3, for example.

The question for people here is running kde 3.0 debs going to give you a
lock _without_ vmware. Having had a lock in the past (kde 2.2, IIRC), I
think this could be likely.
Where is the lock, on the big-screen or virtual?
